Oakley
Just 8 miles East of Decatur on County Highway 25,
Oakley is convenient to Richland Community College as well as
Caterpillar, ADM, and Staley Manufacturing. Oakley is a bedroom
community with employment mainly in Decatur. Children
ride school buses to Cerro Gordo for grades K through 12,
where a comprehensive curriculum is provided as well as a variety
of sports for both boys and girls. Long Creek city water will
soon be available in the Oakley area. The Methodist Church
provides a gathering place for town activities and bonds the
community together.
